Abstract
Die 31P-Magnetresonanzspektroskopie (MRS) ist ein neues Verfahren zur nichtinvasiven In-vivo-Untersuchung des Energie- und Phospholipidstoffwechsels von Geweben. Wegen der hohen technischen Anforderungen hat das Verfahren bisher noch keinen Eingang in die klinische Routine gefunden. Anhand von Einzelbeispielen werden die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der 31P-MRS für die Tumortherapieverlaufskontrolle aufgezeigt. Die neuesten Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, daß mit der 31 P-MRS Effekte im Tumorstoffwechsel nach Chemotherapie innerhalb der ersten 2 Tage nachweisbar sind und damit früher als mit konventionellen Verfahren eine mögliche Tumorantwort festgestellt werden kann. Es bedarf jedoch noch weiterer, ausgedehnter klinischer Studien und technischer Entwicklungen, bevor die 31P-MRS für die klinische Routine zur Verfügung steht.
